MeePBX is a service of Kuvop, LLC, a New York limited liability company (“we”, “us”). By using MeePBX you agree to these terms.
MeePBX runs a private phone system for you on a server we manage. You pay us monthly for that server and the software on it. Phone numbers and calls come from your own phone company (for example Skyetel) under your own account with them, and they bill you directly. We are not your phone company. Price is per phone system, not per person. Phones and adapters are bought separately.
911 calls go through your phone company, and only work while your internet connection, your phones and your phone company's service are all working. A power or internet outage can stop 911 from working. Register the correct street address for each number with your phone company (MeePBX's setup asks you to) so emergency responders are sent to the right place, and update it if you move. Keep another way to call 911.
We keep your server updated, watched and backed up nightly, and fix problems as fast as we reasonably can. The service is provided as is: we don't promise it will never go down, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 3 months. We aren't liable for calls that couldn't be made, including emergency calls.
MeePBX is run by one person, and support is nominal. Support hours are weekdays 9 to 5 ET, and we aim to reply within one business day, by email at support@meepbx.com. We do not offer 24/7 or phone support, and we do not promise a recovery time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York.
We'll email you at least 30 days before any change to these terms or your price that affects you.
